New West Insurance is an independent national life insurance marketing organization, based in Ketchum, Idaho. Our customers are an exclusive group of life insurance professionals who lead the industry in innovative advanced marketing strategies. With over thirty years of underwriting experience, we know how to best position each client in order to effectively negotiate and obtain the most competitive underwriting possible.
Our partnership with Insurance Designers of America (IDA), an organization whose production totaled more than $280 million in life premium in 2007 and one billion in annuities in 2008, gives us clout in underwriting and marketing. IDA is an alliance of top marketing groups that uses its combined strength and high production levels to influence product and compensation design as well as to effectively shape market forces.
In addition to our partnership with IDA, we have developed strategic alliances with leading tax experts and advanced marketing firms to provide the technical and legal assistance demanded by our sophisticated client base. Our annual study group meeting brings together top insurance professionals from around the country and is considered one of the industry’s finest.
Although we represent over 40 insurance carriers, we have developed a core group of about a dozen carriers with whom we place the majority of our business. This core group has led the development of competitive products that give long term value to policyholders and pay generous compensation to producers. All of our core carriers meet the following criteria: financial strength, product integrity, high compensation, competitive underwriting, and superior service. Our advisory producer board established these carrier requirements 20 years ago and they remain just as relevant in today’s vastly different marketplace.
